Service Women's Action Network Awarded $100,000 Grant from Cigna Foundation
Washington D.C.:Service Women's Action Network (SWAN) is pleased to announce that they have been awarded $100,000 from Cigna Foundation’s Veteran's, Military, and First Responders grant program. This grant will fund SWAN’s 2023 Emergency Assistance Program, which will be launched under the “For Service Women” app.
“Deployments can take a toll on the mental health and well-being of veterans, those currently serving, and of military families. When left untreated, these invisible wounds can have devastating effects,” said Susan Stith, President of the Cigna Foundation. “We are honored to partner with SWAN, and help them reach more servicewomen and veterans through their Emergency Assistance Program. This initiative not only ensures that these women have a place to turn for help when they need it most, it gives back to those who have given so much protecting our country.”
SWAN thanks the Cigna Foundation for their generous support and commitment to service members and veterans who have given so much to this country.
