Collaborate With Us

Thank you for your interest in collaborating with the Service Women’s Action Network (SWAN). We are committed to supporting research that aligns with our mission to advocate for, connect, and support military women, ensuring they receive the recognition and benefits they have earned.

Before proceeding, we request that all interested researchers ensure their study meets the following criteria:

Alignment with SWAN’s Mission and Values: The research should directly support and enhance our mission and reflect our core values of integrity, respect, transparency, and commitment.

  • Relevance to Advocacy Priorities: Your research topic should align with our current advocacy priorities such as military justice reform, health care access, and combating sexual harassment and assault.

  • Institutional Review Board (IRB) Approval: The study must have IRB approval from a recognized institution, ensuring ethical standards are maintained.

  • Participant Safety and Confidentiality: Plans for protecting the privacy and confidentiality of participants must be clearly outlined.

  • Potential Impact and Benefit: The research should have the potential to significantly impact service women’s lives or influence policy.

If your research meets these guidelines and you believe it could benefit from SWAN’s support or use of our network, please provide us with a detailed proposal and a copy of your IRB approval. We are eager to review projects that can make a meaningful difference in the lives of service women and women veterans.
